Faye - Use of razor-cutting to achieve a very textured yet chunky feeling. A short layered technique was used at the back working in to long overlapping layers at the front.

Lisa - This program demonstrates the use of razor cutting around the perimeter guide line to achieve a shattered shape and softness. The scissors were used for a short, chunky layered effect to add definition and contrast.

Joelle - This commercial look was achieved by working with a dropped graduation to frame the face. A short rotational layering technique was working through the crown blending softly into layers to give a soft feminine look

Michelle  –  This jaw length cut concentrates on a definite layered effect using a slither cutting technique for softness, texture and root movement. An asymmetrical graduation at the front gives a strong focal point to the cut.

Accent -  De-centralizing is the key point to this cut  in which we concentrate on an exaggerated weight line through the front frame and accentuate this by keeping the back of the cut short in to the nape. 
  

Forward Fringe - is a high tech forward moving shape with a very broken feeling to keep a feminine softness to a definite shape. Among the many features of this cut is the various techniques used to create this forward movement but still keeping a three dimensional shape.

The Chrome Cut  - is a new concept in wavy hair. This cut demonstrates strong interior shapes within the layering to achieve an asymmetry and project a strong outline shape.   

 
The Median - is a short asymmetric cut that demonstrates the skills and effects of precision. Using a strong frontal outline shape which compliments the flatness of the cut.  

Chrome & Median

Blanche - The focal point of this cut is the heavy rounded line that is cut onto the face. The layers throughout the cut are left heavy to achieve width and a flat appearance and then texturized to create an uneven surface which gives a broken effect to the top of the cut.   

Directions - is a short adaptable cut with the illusion of length at the back, showing varied length distribution running through the cut to achieve different directions and an upward moving concept through the front.

The Box Cut - is a geometric layered shape with a square fringe that has been cut away at the temples to release a dramatic framing line.  

The Slant Cut - The focal point of this cut  is the use of directional cutting to achieve an asymmetric slant. This is enhanced by adapting a more solid cutting approach to the outline shape.

The Forte Cut - shows a solid and heavy based cut with an asymmetric line through the front to give more shape and direction. The hair is totally one length throughout but has been texturized  to soften and give movement to the style.   

The Marcel Cut - The concept behind this short chic cut is flatter, closer hair moving away from the face, keeping longer lengths through the top to enable the cut to be adaptable for the client. A soft wave pattern was blow dried into the front to give a focal point to the design.
